Sing my lungs out - iPop Karaoke @ PV128, Setapak

As you can see my profile, singing is one of my hobbies. More so, I enjoy music and I sing everyday - during the journey to and back from office on weekdays, I meant.

So, I received an invitation from my high school bestie that she got an invitation to review a karaoke establishment. Since I've not been going to karaoke for a while and was craving for it for months, I RSVPed almost immediately after I received the notice!

The karaoke is called iPop Karaoke at PV 128, Setapak. The look and feel of it seems like a family karaoke provider. Upon arriving, I head straight to the room and it's always good to catch up with these girls.

I wonder why am I posing as such - what am I thinking when these girls are singing?

We were pretty impressed with the system provided in iPop Karaoke. Here are the few reasons why!

Good surround and PA system - We actually increase the background volume for some songs and it don't break at all. Those high notes (trust me, I can be screaming as my tune is leaning towards the high pitch) we could just hit it and let it out with no disappointment! There are also ample quantity of microphone provided and we could all have 1 microphone to ourselves

Big screeniPop Karaoke use projector screen instead of TV. This was the first KTV that I went that offers such big screen
See, I told you - BIG screen!

Touch screen song selection - I think the boss invested quite a bit into the system as the song selection panel is touch screen! The only downside of it is that there is only this one screen and the remote control provided has unclear / smear button description. In other words, we often need to go near to the screen to select the song

The song list is pretty up to date. We tried searching for new and old song and we found all of them!

Atmosphere & decor - iPop Karaoke has pretty decent decor (designed wall art) and there is the light installation to create certain atmosphere. I understand from my friend that there is also One Piece wall art in one of the rooms! sorry as I don't have the picture with me

Guess it's not too bad of a choice for gathering, corporate and family event

F&B - even though I didn't have anything, but two of my foodie bestie gave high remarks on the F&B provided. It's sourced by 不见不散 restaurant within the building

Washroom in the room - convenient, kan? So you don't need to be excuse for too long looking for toilet outside of your KTV room
