My new life = working mum

As I progress into my next life stage, aka a mummy, I felt that I always running out of time and I treasure me time and time for rest and to sleep.

Perhaps let me share with you how my typical weekday looks like.

Wake up 1 hour earlier to prepare food for the little one (sometimes for the family too), dress up and drive 1 to 1.5 hours to monorail station, another 10 to 20 minutes in the train, then the work starts.
When work ends, 10 to 20 minutes in the train, 40 mins to 1 hour on the road, 10 to 20 minutes preparing dinner, 15 minutes shower, then pick up the little one, dinner, 1 to 1.5 hours play time, clean the dishes, prepare next day's meal, head to sleep.

On average, I only has less than 1.5 hours to myself.

Some say weekend will be better - I would say: not really.

Wake up 1 hour later as the little one needs to drink milk. Then the whole day will be about preparing her food, feeding, preparing my meals, eating, getting her to nap twice a day, and bathing, doing housework, cleaning. On average, I only have less than 2 hours to relax.

Should it be a outing weekend, I will be piling up my housework and I need to sacrifice my me time to make sure my house is in tact.

It doesn't help as we are staying alone - as in we don't have our parents with us. It also means I don't have helper. All things need to be handle by my own -  in fact, I'm taking care of 3 person's life everyday. Also, it doesn't help with my job nature that requires me to travel for work. There are months that half of the month I'm living with my suit case and that means, pile up housework and no rest time!

Oh well, merely sharing and wanted to do a shout out to all mothers: you guys are the best! remember to love yourself more ☺
