See - my long hair can be very long and boring, right?
One fine day that I finally can't tahan of my "dead" looking hair, I thought of giving it a treatment. Went searching for a good deal on Fave and I found one that came with scalp treatment as well. Timing was good too as I have few hours to kill before the usual time I reached home to start my night routine (pick up the little one from nanny, bath, cook and play with the little one)
I went to the salon in Kepong and it's a total change to my used to be hair style - SHORT hair. And it was really short - awkward length between ears and shoulder. The stylist also encouraged me to change my parting, from side to middle split.
Ta-da, SHORT hair looking Winx - fresh from the salon
The change was good, but hard to maintain. There is this extra step of curling my hair every morning. But somehow, I love the way I look for a good 3 months.
Hair growing and it's getting harder to take care of it
I do look fatter in this picture, with this hair style...
They first help me to trim my hair, follow by a hair analysis to check my hair conditions. It appears that I've very sensitive scalp with dryness too. Hence, it causes the itchiness that makes me scratch my scalp constantly - especially during the hot days. But, I'm glad to hear that the hair grow is maintained at a healthy level even though with the severe hair fall I've post pregnancy.
The two pictures on the left was before treatment (dry and "injured" scalp). On the right was the after treatment images. The top indicates the sensitivity of my scalp (very sensitive) while the bottom showed the cleaned and healthy hair root (3 to 4 pieces of hair per root is healthy, yay)
The hair stylist suggested for me to have alternate shampoo session to treat the sensitive scalp of mine. The charges was affordable and I'm still trying to see the difference as it was only a week ago that I went to the salon.
