But to me, porridge is indeed a very Chinese cuisine, where it represent the harmonious and purity of a meal could be, which somehow equivalent to a healthy choice of food after all the delicious delicacy one may enjoyed over a week.
Remembered those days when we were young, I believe in a month time, there must be a day or two that mom cooked porridge.
