Time flies and we are mid way passed 2014 and we are celebrating Raya next week.

So, when we thought of Raya, the thing that comes into mind is balik kampung... also lemang, ketupat, curry, etc. xD

I was listening to Red FM yesterday and they are sharing about some tips on balik kampung timing. As it's, we are all "afraid" and "used to" the traffic conditions - an usual trip to Ipoh that takes about 2-3 hours can possible stretch to merely 8 hours during this balik kampung system. I even remembered that one of my ex-colleagues were caught for 14 hours from KL to Kuantan!! Phew!!!

Therefore, aside from having the traffic report till 3am daily, Red FM also suggested that those having long journey trip (4-5 hours & above) should leave the house earliest - before lunch while those short journey should leave the house only after 5pm. The worst time to leave the house is after lunch.
