How was your weekend? Fun? Relaxing? Hectic?
Mine was a hectic one, indeed. One of my secondary school mate will be leaving to Penang for a month for work and she wanted a 'farewell-gathering' before she goes. And of course, it have been a while since the last we sit down together and have 'sister talk'.
She has suggested Vincenzo Ristorante Italiano located in Bangsar and off we go! The reviews were good and we often opt for new venues. However, it was CLOSED! I meant the whole One Bangsar is CLOSED!! haihz...
Since we were in Bangsar, the next place we could think of is Alexis. Then, our mate suggested W.I.P instead since it was just down the road. Although there were much other choices but as we were hungry (it was about 9pm), we had come to an agreement: W.I.P.
I have heard a lot about W.I.P. but has never been into it. We have been ushered to a discrete place near the wine shelf as well as the toilet entrance and the girls love it so much as it was a great spot for pictures taking as well as to check on the guys, I meant hot guys...
As the night was a bit too late, we only ordered 2 popular dishes (espetada & tofu puff) plus 1 bottle of house wine (chile).
Espetada (RM46.00 for chicken) - Traditional Portuguese meat skewers marinated with garlic, laurel leaves, rock salt and charbroiled to perfection
Tofu Puff (RM19.00) - Tofu stuffed with minced prawns, mushrooms and mixed vegetables, battered and deep fried
Frontera Chile (RM90.00) - house wine from Taiwan
It was a good experience as I got to feel the night crowd and activity =) The GM of the whole group was there that night and he even approached us to ensure things are alright but we were a bit shock as it was pretty random...
That was Saturday... What about Sunday?
Then, the rest of the day was just like the normal weekends where I bathed White-ky and did minor housework and cooked.
So, how about yours?
