Remember the previous post about how to handle those
products that are going to expire?
What about the products that already expired? Are we supposed
to dispose them just like that?
- Cleansing
Lotion / Cleansing Milk (validity: 2 to 3 years)
I believe everyone understands that
cleansing lotion / cleansing milk is used to cleanse your skin. It could be
used as a detergent in cleaning the dirt found on collar, sleeve and even
shoes. On top of that, it could be used as the hair removal lotion-cream too
- Toner (validity: 2 to 3 years)
For toner consists of alcohol, it
could be used to clean mirrors, dressing table, dining table, mosaic. Toner with
high level of moisture content, you could use them to clean your leather shoes,
leather bags or leather sofas. Do not use it on furniture as it will makes your
furniture has that sticky touch
- Moisturiser (validity: 2 to 3 years) or Mask (validity: 2 to 3 years)
There are several usages for these items
once you found them expired long time ago. Pour the moisturizer onto a cotton
pad or cut a small piece from the mask sheet and wrap it around your
fingernails for 15 minutes. This can help the growth of nails and provide the
natural shine of your nails. On top of that, it could be used as a hair serum.
After washing your hair, apply the moisturizer or mask essence in the pack onto
the hair, especially targeting the hair end. Not only it is good as a
protection or an equivalent of hair mask, it could decrease split ends and
makes your hair smoother and less fuzzy. It could be used as a protective layer
when you apply them on leather items. However, please do not use whitening
moisturizer on leather products
- Eye Shadow (validity: 2 to 3 years), Powder Blusher (validity: 3 years) or Lip Gloss (validity: 2 to 3 years)
Extract the expired eye shadow and
transfer them into a container, smash it into powder form. Next, dip a few
drops of the transparent nail polish and mix well with the powder. Now, you
have your own unique nail polish color! Obtain a different tone with blusher
and lip gloss
