UTAR do provides many types of Soft Skill program which aimed to help students in developing their skills... This was my 1st time signing up for an English Writing Course recommended by Dr Selva =)
I've always have writing problem =( Therefore, I think the course will help me some how. A registration fee of RM125 is needed. Initially, the course will be a 4-day thingy, from 9am-5pm. But, the speaker thinks that it'll be much more effective if we break the course up to shorter period...
So, the course will be a 6-day program! On Friday, we have 3pm-5pm one slot, Saturday and Sunday each will be 9am-2pm =) I was a bit angry about it because this course supposed to be taken place on July. However, it have been drag till now...
We have our 1st class on last Friday. Full of excitement, I went in! Our speaker is Dr Elaine Morais, a professor with a phD =) She is very friendly...
Today, Sunday, we have already gone through 3 classes. It's true!! I do learned ^^ And I'm glad about it!! Oh ya!! This course requires student to buy Dr Elaine's book to further guide us through.
As for now, I felt a bit more confident in writing and I can't wait for the next week's classes.
