On last Sunday, mum woke me up in the morning at 10am and informed me that we'll be going to Cameron Highland, a-day trip!

What?? Going a trip and I get to know like 2 hours before we departure?? So, I woke up immediately and get ready myself lo... ... Together with my 2 aunty and 2 cousins, we went there by 12.30pm.

It was a long journey I would say. It took us almost 2 to 3 hours to get there =) My mum's "tai chi" friends were the one who wanted this trip. Since we reached there pretty late, we decided to travel our own.

However, it was pretty late already by then. Many places were closing and apparently the traffic there is bad. We stayed at the 1st station of Cameron Highlands which is Ringlet.

Ringlet is kind of away from the main city, Tanah Rata and many visitation place is near there.
So, we have to travel up hill as well to get to those strawberry farm, cactus park... ...

Because of time constrain, we only managed to visit the so called strawberry park but we can't get in because it was closed.
We can only see it from outside lo =(

We also managed to visit the BOH tea plantation area.

But... ... The processing factory is closed on that day as well =(

Since there were no more place to visit, we went to the pasar malam in Cameron Highlands. Aunty started to buy vegetables, strawberries and food =)
The price of goodies went down when we walked ourselves further down the street.

At first, 5 packets of assorted vege sell at the price of RM10. Then, 8 packets for RM10; finally, 12 packets for RM10!!! Same goes to the strawberries!! The further we walked down the street, the larger the packaging and they are selling at the same price!!

We went back to hotel around 8pm and ate dinner, steamboat ^^
All our meals were being prepared because one of my mum's friend. So what we do is just eat =)

After our dinner, we went in to sleep.
As usual, I have a restless night because of the place and I'm not used to sleep with someone in one bed =(

We have to woke up early the next day, 7am =)
We have to visit few places in one goal and we need to make it before afternoon to enable us to go to Sungkai.

The 1st stop was another tea plantation, Cameron Valley.

This plantation is much more nicer than the BOH tea plantation because of the view along the hill.

We have some shots here and we moved to another stop which was the cactus point.

Due to the traffic, we stopped at the cactus park. Here, you can find all sorts of cactus!!

Mum bought this so called the "grape-ie" look plant home =)

My 2 aunty also bought themselves one cactus each. Then, we went higher to the strawberry farm. Again, my aunty bought vegetable again =.=

Unlike the last trip I came, all the strawberries farm not allowed close distance "viewership".
So, we only can see it with a fence separating us lo... ...

One of my mum's friend has a relative here in Cameron.
They run a vegetable farm =) We have the pleasure to pay a visit at the farm!! The farm is located at another end of Cameron Highlands.

So, we have to drive all the way up hill and go to another end of Cameron =( It was tiring wei... ... Pity my dad need to drive up and down... ...

Farms were huge and there was no proper road for normal vehicle to drive in. Guess what we sit?? Some sort of jeep that fetches the crops down hill!!

Along the way, it was so exciting and fun!! We screamed along the way especially when the driver have no choice to go road with holes...

This is where we get to see how vegetable was being planted... Tomatoes, cabbages, chilies, brinjal... ...

cabbage...

chilies...

tomatoes...

This experience is like once in a life time because we were not exposed to this in city =)

We headed back to hotel and had our lunch, late lunch... ... We canceled the trip to Sungkai because apparently it was closed by 6pm =( Children were sad about it because they can't play water / swimming... ...

Luckily there was an article about Sungkai on Saturday newspaper.
My mum flipped the news to check whether there is any number that we can call to double confirm. Upon checking, we found out that the operation time is from 9am to 10pm!!

Hurray!! Plan changed again. We are heading to the Hot Springs ^^

Charges of RM10 for adult and RM7 for children aged 3 to 12 years old is needed. Since we went there in the evening session, which is after 7pm, we'll be only paying RM7 for adult and RM 5for children. Discount, discount!!

Children were jumping around and playing around. Even my sick cousin also playing happily =)

What so special about this Hot Spring is there is a place specially allocated for boiling your egg!! Yes, you get it!! Cook your egg in the water with the temperature of 90 to 100 Celsius...

There were notice boards telling us how many minutes you should cook your egg to get 1/4 cook, 1/2 cook... ...

Tools for boiling eggs were also being provided!! So, what you need to do is just bring those eggs and cook it!!

It was a fun trip although I have been to Cameron lately... Spending time with your family can buy with money!! I love all of you ^^

Love,
~w!nX~
