This event is not a normal book lauching. A fashion show with model holding the book is one of the "fresh" event! Of course, Puiks invited me to be one of the model in this launching. Since it was a collaboration with PRIDE, it is a charity event.
We went there by 3pm and started to rehearsal on 3.40pm =) The room was quite spacious and chandelier can be seen in the hall. The setting of it was mainly in pink because breast cancer is pink =) We rehearsal and get settled down and headed to Sunway Pyramid to have our dinner.
Know what's our dinner?? KFC!! It have been some time since the last time I eat KFC. There were 6 of us: Puiks, Mei Ling, Joan, Agnes, Meryll and me =) This was what we had ordered...
After finishing our lovely dinner, we started to take bath, make up, hair do... It was already 6pm by then. After a rush and tense session, we need to head in to the hall with very home-based outfit... So many audience were watching!! But what to do?? The back door was closed.
We started to change into our outfit to prepare for the fashion show thingy. I regretted buying the shoes from Vad & Vid. It was not high enough for me. But what to do? I have no black heels...
Everything went well during the modeling time but one thing this event different from others was that model were required to carried a book during the walk. This was my first time I would say ^^
Before the fashion show started, flash light were there because Mei Ling bought the camera. We took quite a number of shots till the memory almost full =) After the fashion show, we camphore again with some random dresses.
I was like crazy about trying all the dresses but what I would say is the dresses was a bit too big for me. I was the smallest size between the 6 models! So, many dresses I can't really fit well. Remember the fitting day, I tried on so many dresses because it looks not fitting on me =(
It was time for us to enjoy the buffet. We have wine as well =)
