It was Sunday again, a day to rest actually. However, it was not my day to rest =(
Participated Batik Fun Walk happening in One Utama!!
We, our family, had been a loyal participant in this event. It was a chill event whereby what you need to do is just walk!! Previously it was being held in Berjaya Times Square for the past 5 years, this year, in One Utama^^
Woke up by 6.15am and started the walk by 8.00am!! It was a 4.5 km walk around One Utama area.
We were required to collect all 9 checkpoints items to verify we had passed the checkpoints and completed the walk.
We registered under family. Our group name is Harmony. And being the largest family group, we had taken the title for 4 - 5 years =) Of course this year we won the title with 57 members in the group!!
What is so different about Batik Walk this year was because the nation first astronaut, Datuk Dr Sheikh Muszaphar Shukor Sheikh Mustapha was there!! He was so tall and quite the handsome la!! But no opportunity to take photos of him =(
It seems to me this month is Batik month. Batik bazaar and Piala Seri Endon [batik design competition] is going on...Clowns were all over the place and children love it so much!! My brother got this 2 hand-twist balloon which was a bear and a flower.
It was a fun event that have been a tradition for my family to join every year!! We shall meet next year then, Batik Walk =)
